Canfield Township Park

Canfield Township Park is located at 7419 Herbert Road- next to Old North Church. This community park is growing into a destination for all types of events. Currently the park has a large pavilion style building for rent- it comes complete with restrooms, a concession area with large warmer, a refrigeration unit and picnic tables. You can enjoy the large concrete basketball court , playground and swings plus more than 4 acres of grass fields, for all types of athletics or simply flying a kite. Canfield Township Hall

Township Hall   

Canfield Township Hall is located at 21 S. Broad Street and serves as the Township offices and meeting place. Township Hall is available to all residents to use free of charge by simply contacting the Township administrator to confirm an open date. For Town Hall history click here.

Township Leaf Collection

Each year the township performs a Leaf Collection for the residents that choose to participate. The leaves are to be placed in compostable bags that can be purchased at the Township hall for $2.00 for (5) five bags, or any other store that sells the bags. The service to the residents’ runs during the months of October and November typically the third week of October thru Thanksgiving with the days of pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Township is broken up into quadrants using route 224 and route 46 with the area east of route 46 being picked up on Tuesdays and west of route 46 on Thursdays. The leaf bags are to be placed at the curb by 8:00 a.m. on the day of pick up and the Public Works Employees will do the rest.

Appliance Drive  

The Appliance Drive is a yearly free service to all residents of Mahoning County sponsored by the Township and the Green Team. The Appliance Drive is held at the Canfield Fairgrounds typically on the first Saturday in June and can be accessed by entering through Gate 9 off route 46. There are student athletes from Canfield High School working the event to unload your vehicle to make the drop-off easy. 

What type of appliances can I bring?  
The Appliances that are accepted are: Refrigerators, Freezers, Microwaves, Dehumidifiers, Stoves, Ovens, Air Conditioners, Grills, and any type of scrap metal. If you have questions as to what can be brought in you can contact either Canfield Township at 330-533-4239 or the Green Team at 330-740-2060

Electronics Drive

The Electronics Drive is a yearly event sponsored by the Township and the Green Team. The Electronics Drive is held at the Canfield Fairgrounds in the Government Building, (which is the first building to the right of the Grandstand). The event is typically held on the (4th) Saturday in September. There will be student athletes from Canfield High School there to unload your vehicle for you. 

What type of electronics can I bring to the event?
Electronics accepted: Stereos, phones, cell phones, computers, (monitors are taken free with the tower), alarm clocks, CB radios.

There is typically a charge for TVs and Monitors that is set by the Vendor. All TVs and Monitors are $2.00 per inch across the width of the cabinet.  If you have questions as to what can be brought in you can contact either Canfield Township at 330-533-4239 or the Green Team at 330-740-2060
